For a while now, it has been challenging to source eggs. In today’s newsletter, I would like to share where you can purchase eggs.
First, look for local farmers.
Most of my readers are in Minnesota.
Here are a few places in Minnesota to purchase eggs:
Ferndale Market (limit one dozen per person)
31659 Willow Trail
Cannon Falls, MN
507-263-4556
Brand Farms – They are running out daily.
18605 Biscayne Avenue
Farmington, MN 55024
651-206-9457
My Minnesota Farmer
https://app.barn2door.com/mymnfarmer/all
(They are currently sold out; keep checking back. Once a month they do deliveries.)
I also have readers in Maryland and Pennsylvania. These are both Amish owned places and do not have phone numbers to call.
Bayview Produce
2824 Biggs Hwy
Rising Sun, MD 21911
Seven Springs Orchard
2574 Robert Fulton Hwy
Peach Bottom, PA 17563
For local farms with eggs, you can search here.
If you live near a Trader Joe’s, they have eggs in stock — without the crazy prices you see elsewhere. The limit for eggs there is one dozen.
I have also purchased eggs and many other foods from Misfits Market. Their limit is two dozen of each kind. Use my link to save $10 off your first order.
Whether you purchase from the store or from a local farmer, they key is to shop early in the day.
Do you have a local farm and sell eggs to the public? Please leave a comment with your contact information! If you purchase from a farm with excellent eggs, please leave their information in a comment as well. 🙂
