Spring is officially here, and we should have more sunshine and daylight. Here are just a few benefits of being outside and absorbing more sunshine.

1. Sunshine is a natural mood booster.
Some people feel gloomy during winter because of lack of sunlight, and when sunnier days come, they feel so much better. If you have been inside all day and feel moody or just down, make it a priority to get outside for some sunshine, or sit next to a window where there is sun shining in!
2. Sunshine naturally energizes you.
If you are inside most of the day, be sure to get outside for about fifteen minutes of sunshine to feel more energized. During the day, instead of drinking endless amounts of coffee, take breaks to be outside in the fresh air and sunshine. Eat your lunch outside or take a walk to get more sunshine!
3. Sunshine give you a natural dose of Vitamin D.
Vitamin D is a vital vitamin for your body and supports your immunity as well as healthy bones. Stress depletes Vitamin D from your body. If you are experiencing a large amount of stress, this blog post shares a few ways to reduce your stress levels.
4. Sunshine naturally disinfects.

I am all for vitamins, yet you can get some by being outside on sunny days! Spend as much time outside on sunny days, and you may not need to worry about illness as much when fall and winter come. 7. Sunshine helps you get a good night’s sleep.
Exposure to sunshine early in the morning can help you sleep better at night. How can you get more sunshine in the morning? Read or journal on your deck or patio, work in the garden, take a walk, or just take your lap top computer outside and work there!
